GeoJSONic is a field-journal app for iPhone. Capturing your notes, viewing them on the 3D globe, and sharing are free — the data is yours, stored on your device. GeoJSONic Pro is an optional subscription for offline map downloads, satellite imagery, and the measurement workflow. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard License Agreement.

The app and your data

Everything you capture — notes, photos, audio, routes, and scout areas — is stored on your device and is yours to keep, export, and delete. We run no account and no backend. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

GeoJSONic Pro subscription

Capturing notes, the online 3D globe, ambient map caching, and share/export stay free. GeoJSONic Pro unlocks offline map area downloads, the satellite basemap, and the measurement workflow (edit shapes, set measurements, generate field PDF reports).

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

License

Your use of GeoJSONic is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict, these terms apply to the GeoJSONic-specific items above; the Apple EULA governs the app license itself.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt it or misuse it. The app is a tool for documenting places you have the right to document.

No warranty

GeoJSONic is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It is a journaling tool, not a survey-grade instrument — GPS coordinates, areas, and measurements are approximate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app. Always keep your own backups of important data (Settings → Export).

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
